Like those children, the Fortnite wave cannot be stopped, especially now that it's available on smartphones and the Switch. My hope is that this phenomenon washes away the Candy Crushes of the world and paves the way for a new generation of free-to-play mobile gaming that is more enjoyable and less exploitative.
