Maybe this time I'll actually be able to play Majora's Mask. I was much too young to grasp the concept of the game itself, and found myself curling into the fetal position. The end of the world was just too much for my little brain, ho boy.
It’s never really explained what happens to Link when he plays the Song of Double Time, so we considered 3 options:
1. We follow standard video game logic and Link just warps ahead to the next day, physical consequences be damned.
2. We borrow Christopher Nolan's incorrect interpretation of relativistic physics and assume the song creates a highly localized gravity field that slows time for Link relative to the rest of the world.
3. We employ our own stupid logic, where Link just stands there, playing his ocarina for hours while the world passes by around him at an accelerated rate.
Naturally we went with the stupid option...
