(though this is something of a recurring theme for her...)
I actually think there is a space in the market for robo-pets, but it's just not in dog form. Picture a tiny robot-bird that perches on your shoulder and acts like an Alexa speaker, tweeting out information like your text messages or the weather. Now that's a robo-pet I could get behind. All the newly-unemployed designers of robo-dogs can head over to Boston Dynamics to make their robots slightly less terrifying.
