I really like the Galar region’s visual contrast of idyllic countryside with symbols of heavy industry, but it becomes harder to enjoy when the (admittedly excellent) design of Galarian Corsola is constantly screaming “THIS WORLD IS DYING” into the part of your brain that generates chronic anxiety.

I look forward to the next edition of Pokemon, which will be set in a fictional region based on California, where Bulbasaur’s regional variant will be a dual grass-fire type, visually represented by a Bulbasaur that’s both on fire and screaming.
