Ok, we may have jumped the gun a bit with this joke. While the Breath of the Wild coverage at E3 was pretty extensive, not everyone might've picked up on the Sheikah Slate compared to the other new features like the open world setting or even the cooking mechanic.
Still, it feels a bit odd to see a character in a fantasy setting use what is essentially a magical smartphone to solve dungeon puzzles. In the demo dungeon, Link basically installs an app on his "phone" that gives him the ability to levitate heavy metal objects with magnetism. It's cool, but looks kinda silly, though I suppose it's no more silly than Snapchat.
